Mary Licciardi founded Soul Purpose Yoga with the intention of helping people move through grief. Grief comes in all forms - losing people we love, our cherished pets, a health diagnosis, divorce, loss of a job or a dream, and our bodies store our grief.
Through yoga, somatics, and breathwork, you’ll be supported in releasing trapped emotions and cultivating a deeper connection with your body and nervous system.
Mary’s goal is to help your heart heal, one breath and one pose at a time.

"Been practicing yoga for many years, and I’ve never felt as centered and grounded as I do after Mary’s classes. The combination of meditation, spirituality, and physical movement is unique."

If you want to practice yoga and have special circumstances or limitations, don’t be discouraged. Mary has a rare chronic health condition, and understands. She will work with you modifying poses, and using props to ensure a safe yoga practice.
"Mary’s yoga sessions are truly unique. There’s no judgment and Mary offers alternate options if a pose is difficult. I’ve been taking her classes for over three years, and believe my practice has improved and I have grown personally, because of her support and guidance. She welcomes, challenges, supports, and guides all of us. I highly recommend her classes."

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-above) energy practice that encourages deep relaxation and helps quiet the mind, helping you rest, restore, and reconnect from within. Many people leave a session feeling more grounded, peaceful, and connected to themselves.
Each experience is unique, and sessions are always guided by your individual needs.

Building community is at the heart of what Mary loves most. Beyond teaching weekly classes and hosting Soul Purpose Yoga events, she enjoys bringing yoga into the community wherever people gather.
Mary creates welcoming, accessible yoga experiences that meet people where they are.
If you're looking to add a meaningful wellness experience to your next event, Mary would love to partner with you and help create an experience your community will remember.
